ANDREA WARCHAIZER
Andrea is a graduate of the Yale University School of Architecture and has worked as a residential designer since 1990. In 1994 she started her own residential design firm, now known as Springpoint Incorporated. Andrea has taught extensively, including classes at Keene State College and Norwich University, and has been a guest lecturer at Massachusetts College of Art, Virginia Military Institute, and Yale University. She has published articles in Timber Framing, Timber Frame Homes, and Timber Homes Illustrated.

Andrea has been an active member of the Timber Framers Guild since 1990 and served on the board of directors for six years (including two years as Board President). She has taught workshops on timber frame design at Heartwood School, Yestermorrow School, and Rocky Mountain Workshops. Andrea has also been a board member of the Northeast Sustainable Energy Association.

After work, Andrea enjoys hanging out with the dogs and gardening. She is a student of judo and a volunteer with the Keene Swamp Bats.

RICHARD BRUCE
Bruce comes to architectural design with a rich and varied past. After serving in the U.S. Navy, Bruce moved to New York City to study art at the Art Students’ League before taking up writing. He is the author of seven books in the Young Adult Horror genre.

Bruce joined Springpoint in 2000 and has become an indispensable member of the team. While it is Andrea you will talk with on the phone, it is Bruce who will do the bulk of the drawing for your project. Andrea oversees the design and the big picture, but it is Bruce that is always looking at the small details that will make a project coherent, elegant, and buildable.

Bruce is also an avid student of judo and lover of dogs.

MARK EDSON
Springpoint Incorporated has partnered with Mark Edson Construction since 2003 to provide complete Design/Build services in the Monadnock region. The newest member of the Springpoint team, Mark brings over 25 years of building experience to the table. In addition to being an accomplished carpenter and building contractor, Mark has taught English at the University of New Hampshire, has built a beautiful off-the-grid home for his family, and now has a weekly radio show on local station WOOL FM.

Edson Construction specializes in building energy efficient, high performance, environmentally friendly homes and additions that will be a pleasure to live in and conserve energy and resources.

In partnership, Springpoint/Edson combines architectural skill and construction experience to the building of new homes, as well as renovations, restorations, and additions.  Together we will help you design and build the home that is right for you.
