Springpoint Incorporated, in partnership with Mark Edson Construction, is now offering complete Design/Build services in the Monadnock region.  We specialize in building energy efficient, high performance, environmentally friendly homes that will be a pleasure to live in and conserve energy and resources.

As a team, Andrea Warchaizer and Mark Edson combine architectural and construction skills to build new homes as well as renovations, restorations, and additions.  Together we will help you design, develop and build the space that is right for you.

All too often the designer and builder are placed in an adversarial relationship.  Architect designs home.  But it can't be built as drawn.  Or it's way over budget.  So it’s back to the drawing board, at great cost to the client.  Or the Architect delivers finished plans, which the builder then tosses into the back of the truck and never looks at again.  The result is an ineffective team and unhappy clients.

This doesn't happen with us. We work together as an integrated team throughout the design and construction phases.  Both competent and experienced, Andrea Warchaizer is the "designer" and Mark Edson is "the builder"; but their skills overlap.  Mark has a keen eye for design and brings ideas to the table.  Andrea has an understanding of construction techniques that allows her to design with construction methods in mind.  Mark reviews the plans and offers alternatives if the design appears to be a budget buster.  Both have an eye for the aesthetic.  Simply put, their goal is to work with you to build a home or space that is both beautiful, functional, and affordable.  

New construction and renovation is a huge investment.  You need to make sure that what you build will serve your needs for many years. In the long run, we believe that good design integrated with the building process will save you money.  A good design will eliminate extra square footage and  redundancies.  The money saved can be used to upgrade materials and fixtures. Design integrated with construction will help you control the budget. Mark and Andrea will work with you to create the most cost effective and high performing house you can afford.  The result should be nothing less than spectacular.
