MAINE FAMILY HOME

The design for this home started with the owner’s response to the beautiful site. Each room has its own strong presence within the whole; a roofscape that appears jumbled from the outside feels unified from within. A small office nook tucks away just past the large family room. The quieter “round room” is just beyond. This is another home that has been largely completed by the homeowner, with help from Bryce Thurston. Andy Buck cut the beautiful fir timber frame.
